    The barbecue was okay I was looking for more of a smoke taste. It tasted like once it got done on the grill they put it in the oven and slow roasted

    Ordered the brisket plate. The brisket was dry and the house made BBQ sauce was sub par in flavor. The portion size of the brisket was fair but the baked beans and potato salad was tiny in size. The price of the food would seem fair if they gave bigger portions of the side items. I was going to leave a 3 star review but the waiter was 5 star, so I must be fair to that outstanding service.

    I ordered the sausage sandwich with a side of Michael’s homemade sauce. What a treat. Highly recommend

    Pleasants has some of the best bbq this side of Texas. We appreciate the time they take to prepare and cook everything. Much better that that other bbq joint ;)

    I was told they have the best bbq in town and also the best greens. Boy was I disappointed the greens are from a can the ribs taste like they were cooked in a oven with hickory flavor and the chicken is dry.I guess the saying is true (you get what u pay for)with the cheapest price in town
